Suresh Maurya LOVES the game of tennis! For the past 20+ years of his life, he has dedicated himself to the game as a player and teaching professional. When a tennis enthusiastic radiated his enthusiasm at the big stage, not only did he get achieve the deserving accolades but also said the three magical words that would inspire all his students and followers – GET STRONGER EVERYDAY.
Suresh Maurya Holds the highest Degree in Tennis – PTR Level 5 Master Of Tennis -Performance. PTR MOT Performance qualifications matches the National Council on Accreditation of coaching education (NACC) at the highest level 5, MOT Performance program is recognized by United States Olympic Committee (USOC), and the competencies of the MOT Performance program is also linked to the ITF’s Highest achievements for tennis coaches. Suresh Maurya is the 2nd Indian to hold PTR MOT Performance certificate in the Country.
The United States Professional Tennis Registry (USPTR) is a giant database consisting of 16,000 members in more than 127 countries across the globe. Each year the USPTR recognizes the contributions and dedication of a tennis coaches and honors them with various awards. In 2016, Suresh Maurya, a young energetic coach from Ahmedabad was selected to be India’s best coach by the USPTR and recognized with the most prestigious award “Best Coach of the year – India “by United State Professional Tennis Registry. In 2019, Suresh Maurya was recognized with “PTR President of the Year-India” by same organization, USPTR.
Suresh Maurya became 5th Coach in history to receive such an award in Gujarat and 1st one to achieve this at the age of 29. Suresh Also nominated as “Best Sports Coach of the Year “by ATP international fitness & sports Convention held in Ahmedabad in 2015.
Suresh holds Elite Professional Certificate from United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) along with Accredited Professional Coach (APC) Classification. He holds The Global Professional Tennis Coaches Association (GPTCA) certificate (ATP Certified) with Level – B Coach, Suresh holds the Professional 4A Certificate from United States Professional Tennis Registry (USPTR). He is also certified with All India Tennis Association (AITA) Level-3 Coach.
Suresh Maurya was recognized by United States Professional Tennis Association for Earning the highest number of education credits in USPTA Career development program in secured in top 5% of USPTA’s career development program for the of 2018, and top 10% in for the year of 2019.
Suresh Maurya has been fortunate to attend 7th Aita coaches conference in India and USPTA Tennis Teachers conference in New York in 2018.
Maurya is the founder and director of the Neon Sports Academy. His success as a player and coach has inspired him to dedicate his life in growing the game and developing young talent in India. The academy has its reach spread across the borders due to its gold standard training facilities.
His success as a player and coach has inspired him to provide a young athlete a platform with very specific and systemic coaching approach. Suresh is actively involved in developing the young athlete in India and United States of America. Suresh as a Director of Neon sports academy has a Goal and vision to help young talented players to achieve their dream goals. Currently Neon is providing coaching to 550+ kids in 2 centers with the help of 25+ certified and experience coaching team in Ahmedabad city.
Suresh is current Tennis director in Camp Pontiac located in New York since 2017 and also, he has worked in camp Wayne as a tennis director for from 2010 to 2017 located in Pennsylvania, USA.
As a player, Suresh has performed well in and won many competitive tennis tournaments in his home country of India in both singles and doubles. He was winner in men’s doubles at state open tennis tournament in 2008 and 2011. He was awarded as a player of the state award in 2005. Suresh Maurya has represented Gujarat University three times and was winner in west zone Inter university tennis championship in 2009 and was runner up in west zone Inter university tennis championship twice in the year of 2010, He was also semifinalist in All India University Tennis Championship. Suresh and his team secured 3rd position, twice in row, in national School Games Championship in the year of 2003.
Suresh Maurya is current president of Neon sports Foundation-A charitable trust, has started with a vision to provide best, affordable and modern sports facility to all common people of community and give the talented players an opportunity to shine their future at national and international level.
