Priyanshi Bhandari Earns First WTA Point
We Congratulate Priyanshi Bhandari (India) for earning her career’s first WTA point in W15 Chiang Rai, Thailand. Now she is ranked 965 in ITF Women’s rankings in the world.
Highlights of W15K Thailand tournament’s journey.
She started the tournament being the first seed in qualifying draw where she got bye in the first qualifying round, in second qualifying round she defeated Natcharee Teraachodjiranon from Thailand by 6-1, 6-2 and in second qualifying round she beat Samantha Nanere from Indonesia by 6-3, 6-0. Then she played her first ever women’s main draw and faced Yatawee Chimcham from Thailand in tough 3 sets match and won by 6-1, 3-6, 6-1.
In second round she faced 7th seeded Anastasiia Poplavska from Ukraine and lost to her by 2-6, 3-6.
